Welcome to A Map to the Outside World, the TAFL.Com-approved fanlisting for the utterly surrealistic, highly confusing, and really, really beautiful Adolescence Mokushiroku, the feature-length spinoff film of Shoujo Kakumei Utena. Taking the world and characters we loved from the TV series, inverting them completely and somehow making them stranger and yet lovelier than ever, Adolescence of Utena (as it is known in English-speaking countries) is a highly symbolic love story at heart, and I've been utterly obsessed with it since I first saw it.
